Robles was the Brigade Commander of the Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army in April 2014 and of the 53rd Engineer Brigade in 2015 respectively. He was also Deputy to the Assistant Chief of Staff for Plans, G5 Philippine Army September 2011 to April 2014.
In 1999, He took his Master+s Degree in Project Management 1999 at the Queensland University of Technology.
